Peace with Food- Thanksgiving Challenge 11/14-11/21

I am so glad you are going to be in the Peace with Food- Thanksgiving Challenge!

We are going to have a great time together. I am confident you will learn about what drives you toovereating end emtional eating, Kim McLaughlin emotionally overeat. Here is some important information for you to know.

  • We officially start Wednesday 11/14 and the Thanksgiving Challenge runs until 11/21. You will get daily emails from me about the Challenge
  • Private Facebook Page- Here is the link to our Private Peace with Food- Thanksgiving Challenge Facebook page. You can join in now. As we get closer to the start date there will be more interaction. Click here to Join: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2225452341071489/
  • You will have a lot of opportunities to learn about food, yourself, stress reduction and make some key changes for yourself. This is a short Challenge, so give yourself the gift of time to make peace with food.
  • We will meet weekdays on Zoom 11/14, 11/15, 11/16, 11/19, 1120, 11/21. Each call is at 12:00pm Pacific except 11/16 is at 11:00am Pacific.
  • The Zoom call will last about a half hour. I will take questions, give encouragement and guidance. You are not alone! Zoom is a platform designed to help people meet and interact virtually. You can attend over the computer or call in through your phone. You will be live on the video,  but you can X out the video component, if you want. I will send you the links to the Zoom Room on the day of each call. You do not have to attend live, and it will be recorded. I strongly recommend you listen live or schedule time in your calendar to listen daily. If you have questions and cannot attend live you can post the questions in our Private Facebook Group or email me here.
  • Zoom is easy to access and I will send you an email daily to the link to Zoom. You can either listen on your phone or on your computer.

Daily Guidelines: 

  1. Notice Hungry/Full and allow it to guide you.
  2. Take 5 deep breaths before each meal.
  3. Practice the Behavior Buster given to you each day in our call (it is also posted with Zoom call and on Facebook.
  4. Use Positive Affirmation I give you each day: 3x a day (maybe at each meal!).

  • Gratitude Jar- I showed you mine in the Zoom call.
  • Be thankful for 5 different things each day.
